Hello! I’m Domenico, a seasoned Digital Product Designer and Founding Partner at Sticky Ventures. I specialize in blending creativity with technology to transform ideas into tangible, impactful digital products.

My Journey

From Passion to Profession

‍Growing up in a creative, entrepreneurial family in Napoli, I developed a passion for visual arts early in life. My intrigue with tech led me to study computer science in high school, laying the groundwork for my future career.

Education and Early Career

‍Deciding to merge my love for tech with my creative skills, I pursued Industrial Design and Visual Communication at Politecnico di Milano. My career took a significant turn during an internship at an innovation firm, where I discovered my passion for Digital Product Design.

Returning Home

‍In 2014, life took me back to Napoli with my wife, Pina, to raise our three children—Flora, Leonardo, and Clara—near their grandparents. This move reaffirmed my commitment to family and inspired my approach to work-life balance, leading me to embrace remote work long before it became a global norm.

Professional Life

‍As a founding designer at Sticky Ventures, I've been fortunate to lead projects that span across the digital landscape—from mobile apps to complex SaaS solutions. I take pride in crafting experiences that not only meet but exceed user expectations.

Significant Achievements

• Led the product design and marketing design efforts at Askdata.com, contributing to our successful inclusion in YC-W19.
• Founded Universita.design in 2020, a podcast and platform aimed at helping students navigate the design field.

Teaching and Sharing Knowledge

‍Apart from my professional work, I am an Art Direction professor at IUAD. I enjoy mentoring the next generation of designers, sharing insights from my extensive career, and learning alongside them.
